When SriLankan Airlines welcomes the first of its six all new A330-300 aircraft on 31 October, proud Sri Lankan citizens will have the chance of becoming part of that memorable journey.
All they to do is to listen to the radio promotions, aired in all three languages and text the city they wish the aircraft to fly over.
The promotions, starting today, will be aired across the major radio channels until 26 October, and the lucky winners will be announced on 27 October.
Along with the text message, the listeners are required to send in their names and National ID card numbers to be eligible to enter the draw. Subsequently, 20 lucky winners, selected from the draw will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be on-board the new aircraft when it takes off for the special scenic tour upon its arrival in the island.
The airline has embarked on a fleet renewal program that will replace the older, wide-bodied aircraft with more fuel-efficient and maintenance cost-friendly models from Airbus. Accordingly, SriLankan will be adding a total of six A330-300 and seven new generation A350-900 aircraft to its wide body fleet in the future.
SriLankan Airlines, the national carrier for Sri Lanka and the newest member of the oneworld alliance, is an award-winning airline with a firm reputation as a global leader in service, comfort, safety, reliability, and punctuality.
