The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) tied up with several tourism partners including Etihad, Bangkok Airways, the Melati and Chaweng beach resort to play host to 25 of Lebanon’s most beautiful women.
The finalists of the Miss Lebanon Immigrant 2011 were in the island resort of Koh Samui for a pre-beauty pagent camp for four days.
Miss Lebanon Immigrant hopefuls had a golden opportunity to experience the beauty and charm of Thailand during their stay at Koh Samui prior to their final competition in Beirut, said a TAT statement.
While in Koh Samui the contestants stayed at the luxurious Melati and Chaweng Regent beach resort to enjoy the island’s idyllic beaches and national parks, as well as cultural experiences including opportunities to test their culinary and artistic skills through Thai cooking classes and handicraft activities conducted at The Kala Resort.
In addition to seeing the sights of Samui Island, the contestants also conducted various charity activities such as planting of coconut tree saplings, said Pramoth Supyen, Director of the TAT, Dubai and Middle East Office.
“The beautiful island of Thailand’s Koh Samui was simply the perfect place for Lebanon’s most beautiful to polish themselves just prior to the final contest in Beirut,” he remarked.
These beauties ‘painted the town red’ and enjoy the nightlife of Koh Samui’s Chaweng Beach.
“Ahead of a keenly contested competition, the contestants had the opportunity to maximize their inner and outer beauty while in Thailand, by undergoing luxurious spa treatments at Koh Samui’s most exclusive spas, including the Melati Spa, Banyan Tree Spa, Tamarind Spa and Silawadi Spa,” he added.
