The Blue Water Wadduwa wins Gold at SD Awards 2015

The Blue Water, Wadduwa, a company owned and managed by Union Resorts Ltd., was the proud winner of the Gold Award from the Service Sector at a ceremony held at Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre on 17 December under the patronage of President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena and organised by the Ministry of Labour and Trade Union Relations for Social Dialogue and Workplace Co-operation (SD Awards 2015).

The Blue Water, Wadduwa, has been recognised as a healthy working environment and continues with HR Practices on training, developing, motivating and also organising many CSR projects for the benefit of her associates and the Village with the blessings of the Chairman/Managing Director Ajith Wijeyesekera.

The hotel also won the Presidential Award for Best Mice Operations-Conference Hotel in year 2011 and the Business Excellence Award for Hospitality Sector given by the National Chamber of Commerce in 2010.
