The Fortress reaffirmed as Sri Lanka’s best luxury hotel

• Latest accolade comes at Business Destinations Travel Awards

The Fortress Resort & Spa, one of the most high-profile hotels on Sri Lanka’s celebrated southern coast, has been voted as Sri Lanka’s best luxury hotel at the Business Destinations Travel Awards, a communication by one of the premier business travel industry events said.  The latest award reaffirms other similar recognition from around the world. The Business Destinations Travel Awards are designed to recognise the crème of the business travel industry, paying tribute to tourism brands whose products and services represent the pinnacle of world business travel. Considered to be unique among travel award platforms, the Business Destinations Travel Awards are chosen not by a select, elite panel of judges but rather by a vast and diverse cross section of business travellers and purchases of corporate travel, the communiqué said.

Awards are considered as a vote of confidence coming directly from the travel market.  The makeup of voters includes corporate travel executives and company travel buyers from Fortune 500 companies, MICE solution providers, members of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), as well as, other influential players of the business travel community.
