The Kingsbury voted No. 1 by the next generation

The Kingsbury was voted the most popular hotel among school students through an all-island poll conducted by the Commerce Association of D.S. Senanayake College. The award was presented at a ceremony held at the BMICH recently. Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena presented the awards in the presence of distinguished guests and staff of D.S. Senanayake College. “We are extremely pleased to win this award and be named the most popular hotel among school children. By winning this award The Kingsbury showcases that it is a youth-oriented hotel. This award also recognises that we have the ability to capture the hearts of the youth,” said The Kingsbury Director/General Manager Sunil Dissanayake. The all island poll included over 10,000 school students who had the opportunity to identify and express their opinion on the luxury of the hotels in the country. Other categories that were polled were for most popular newspapers, banks, publishers and FMCG brands.
