Thomas Cook outbound travel has appointed Sparklink Travels (Pvt) Ltd. as its strategic partner to promote, distribute and service Thomas Cook Global Holiday products to the growing segment of outbound holiday makers in Sri Lanka.
Thomas Cook Outbound Travels pulled out of Colombo five years ago, due to the circumstances in the industry during the period and till now no representative or partner been appointed to represent their business in Sri Lanka.
Sparklink Travels with over 32 years experience in the outbound travel has appointed as sole representative of Thomas Cook Holidays with selling rights in Sri Lanka.
“The advantage of the partnership is to offer Global Holiday products to all Sri Lankan clientele customised by a global leader in tourism, Thomas Cook,” said Nihal C.B. Perera, the Chairman of Sparklink Travels.
Some of the most exciting products of Thomas Cook that will be offered to Sri Lankans are Viking River Cruises in Nordic, Disney Cruise Lines, Hurtigruten Cruises, Carnival Cruise Lines, Holland America Cruises, Windstar Cruises, Louis Cruises, Vivada Inland Cruises, Heritage Expeditions and Costa Cruise line Holidays on top of many other global travel packages on offer.
“Apart from this, we handle their all European and North American tours from five days to 20-30 days’ packages. The packages include accommodation and transportations. We help in visa formalities too,” said Praki Perera, the MD of Sparklink, who handles Thomas Cook Outbound Travels.
