Tokyo remains top overseas destinations for Thai travellers in 2014

The latest Hotels.com Hotel Price Index reveals that the vibrant city of Tokyo remained the top holiday booking destination abroad for Thai travellers in 2014.
The survey shows that the preferred destinations for Thai travellers remained very similar to those in 2013. Within Asia, the top five destinations for Thai travellers outside Thailand in 2014 were Tokyo, Osaka, Singapore, Hong Kong and Seoul.
Bangkok, with its two international airports, reigns steadily the top Thai destination among foreign travellers, while Phuket remained the runner-up and in 3rd place Koh Samui was replaced with Pattaya.
The survey is based on data accrued through hotel bookings made through Hotels.com and its partners.
