With another long weekend calling Sri Lankan holidaymakers to unwind, Travelon, known for its idyllic holidays in Sri Lanka, has introduced two tours for its discerning clients.
The first tour is to Nanu Oya and Nuwara Eliya by Expo luxury train which will be a 1N/2D tour from 27 to 28 October. Overnight stay will be at Heaven Seven Hotel in N ’Eliya where the visitors will be offered the ‘grand buffet’ dinner and breakfast. All other meals will be on board the luxury train.
An excursion to Horton Plains via Pattipola and a visit to Japanese Garden, Lake Gregory, and Bale Market and N’ Eliya Bazaar are also on the cards.
The second tour will be to Mahiyangana, Bandarawela, Kataragama and return to Colombo via the Southern Expressway during October 26 to 29. Overnight stays at Sorabora Gedeara Hotel in Mahiyangana, Bandarawela Hotel and Taprospa Tissamaharama.
The highlight of the journey will be the 18 hair-pin-bend Highway (A26) between Kandy and Mahiyangana, which was refurbished to international standards few months ago.
