Trevor Rajaratnam appointed CEO of GO Holidays

With over four decades in the Travel industry, Trevor Rajaratnam is at the helm of Go Holidays, one of Sri Lankan premier travel and tour operating companies founded in 2005.

Go Holidays is a member of United Ventures, which also has subsidiaries representing Air Canada, United Airlines, STA Travel (specialising in student and youth, air travel discounts) and Asia Travels, with an online booking engine providing great tours, hotel and air ticket rates and International Student Identity Card providing students great discounts in a wide range of products in Sri Lanka and internationally. Trevor joins Go Holidays after an extensive career, heading Mackinnons American Express Travels (a member of the John Keells Group) for over 20 years. He has been an active council member of the TAASL (Travel Agent Association of Sri Lanka) and the IATA Agents association for several years, having served three tenures as the President of the IATA Agents association. A past President of the Travel Trade Sports Club, Rajaratnam has been actively involved with sports, serving in numerous spheres. A recipient of the ‘Legend’ award in the travel industry, he intends working with all stakeholders to further enhance the versatility of the travel industry.
