British Airways says it will be carrying more than 250,000 people into London this week ahead of the Royal Wedding celebrations.
The event is proving a huge draw for tourists from the USA in particular, with the top six busiest routes into London proving to be New York, Boston, Washington, Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco.
Scotland leads the way for short haul travel with flights from Edinburgh and Glasgow very full.
France and Germany are the next most popular with inbound flights from Paris, Nice, Munich and Berlin.
People all around the globe will be watching the special occasion on 29 April 2011, with many street parties planned across the UK.
People are even prepared to camp, sometimes for days, to ensure they manage to get the best spots from which to watch the historic procession. The route between Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey goes by The Mall, Horse Guards Road, Horse Guards Parade, through Horse Guards Arch, Whitehall, Parliament Square and Broad Sanctuary.
