VMS Travels moves to new location to serve better

Far fledging front runner, VMS Travels & Tours is moving to a new location 164, Galle Road, Colombo to serve customers better relocating from its previous address at Hotel Galadari, Colombo.

“The company decision to move the operation to the new location is primary to offer its devoted individual and corporate clientele, easy access and the convenient of a one stop travel shop by means of tailor made travel solutions, the service offered ranges from airlines ticketing, holiday package worldwide hotel bookings , cruise, travel insurance and travels cheques,” VMS Travels CEO Sasi Ganeshan said.

VMS Aviation Air Services is the GSA for Ethiopian Airlines in Sri Lanka and the Maldives for both passenger and cargo.

VMS Travels and Tours was established in 1987 by A. Vigneswaran who held a senior position with, Swissair. After Swissair decided to cease operation in to Sri Lanka, Vigneswaran ventured on his own with VMS.

Ganeshan joined VMS last year after a long stint at Aitken Spence Group where he was the Managing Director of Aitken Spence Aviation, the GSA for Singapore Airlines and Director Aitken Spence Group. He said that VMS goal is to be the number one customer-centric travel outlet with a value oriented approach on all activities.

“Our focus is creating a seamless grid, with our customers and suppliers with our class of, highly motivated and professional employees ,with wide networking  facilities and residential business model, we remain highly responsive to our customers expectations and needs at all times,” Ganeshan said.
