Warm welcome for Russian group

A group of 38 Russians consisting of journalists and travel agents arrived on SriLankan Airline’s inaugural flight UL532 from Moscow. 

The group was met and assisted on arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport – Katunayake by Connaissance de Ceylan, which is sponsoring the ground arrangements. The co-sponsors are Connaissance – Moscow, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and Sri Lankan Airlines. The tour includes visits to Kandy, Passekudah, the Cultural Triangle, down south and Colombo before the group departs to Moscow on 28 September – Picture by Kumarasiri Prasad, Airport Correspondent
