Winners of Christmas duty free promotion at BIA get rewarded

The grand draw of the Christmas duty free promotion at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) organised by the Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd., was held on Friday. Passengers who bought duty free goods over $ 10 between December 2013 and January 2014 qualified for the draw and 11 winners were selected.

The grand prize of Rs. 3.5 million Micro Car was won by Chamila Asanka from Embilipitiya whose father accepted the award from Airport and Aviation Services Chairman Prasanna Wickramasuriya. Chamila was on his way to Korea from Colombo for employment. Micro Cars Chairman Dr. Lawrence Perera was also present. Representatives of the other partners of the promotion Siedles Ltd., Nations Trust Bank and Dialog Axiata were also present. Pix by Deepa Adikari
