Work begins on Rs. 700 m Jungle Beach Resort in Kuchchaweli

Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the Jungle Beach Resort, Kuchchaweli, Trincomalee. This hotel will be constructed at the cost of Rs. 700 million by the International Construction Consortium Ltd. and Finco Group. Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Deputy Minister of Economic Development;  Susantha Punchinilame, Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development;

Dr. P.B. Jayasundera Secretary to the Ministry of Finance and Planning and Ministry of Economic Development; and officials from the Tourist Development Authority also participated in this occasion.
