Revealing the rare opportunity of the availability of being available to be qualified in Sri Lanka the Blue Water Chairman and the General Manager Roshan Perera, said “The Institute of Hospitality United Kingdom has made available their qualifications for Sri Lankans, on the request of the Institute of Hospitality Sri Lanka Chapter”. The program is conducted by Imperial Institute of Hospitality Management, under the strict supervision of IH Sri Lanka Chapter, keeping in line with the curriculum and the guidelines offered in United Kingdom.
The UK Chapter and IIHM had agreed to the Sri Lanka Chapter to make the qualifications available at a very affordable rate at a time Sri Lanka requires well trained world class hotel managers to take up the challenges of the future as Sri Lanka steadily march towards the target of 2.5 million or more tourists’ arrivals in year 2016. Institute of Hospitality Sri Lanka Chapter will also be organising another International Conference this year, for Sri Lankan hotel managers scheduled to be held in June 2013, in Colombo. The Institute‘s qualification is recognised globally especially in UK, EU, Caribbean’s and the Arabian Gulf, and its membership is over 25,000 hospitality professionals around the globe.
