25 students from Mullaitivu win Ogawa scholarships

In 1999, Kioko Ogawa of JASTECA launched a scholarship fund for underprivileged students to pursue higher education. Students who were successful at the GCE Advanced Levels were selected and given financial and material assistance.

The 13th scholarship awards ceremony was held recently at the Vidyananda School in Mullaitivu. The JASTECA Executive Committee, the District Education Director and District Education Officers participated at the scholarship award ceremony. Twenty-five students were awarded the Ogawa Scholarship. Here, the students receiving the scholarships
