The Executive Level March 2018 exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) has seen a pass rate of over 50%.
Six students from the institute also won merit prizes after excelling at the Executive Level I and II exam. Chamara Chandimal Wijerathna won the first in order of merit prize at the Executive Level I exam, while Dilini Sewwandi and Malindu Dulshan shared second in the order of merit prize for the same level.
Mark Praveen Shalintha Perera won the first in order of merit prize at the Executive Level II exam, while the second in order of merit prize was shared by Pasindu Kavishka Fernando and Isuru Sampath Wijenayake.
Seven students, including three of the merit prize winners, won the subject prizes at the exam. Merit prize winner Dilini Sewwandi won the Financial Accounting and Reporting Fundamentals subject prize, while another merit prize winner Mark Praveen Shalintha Perera won the Management Accounting Information subject prize.
The subject prize for Fundamentals of Taxation was shared by Kaumini Rashmila Dissanayaka and Yasri Muhammad Shabeer. The Fundamentals of Law subject prize was won by Raveena Srimali. Dewmina Pramudith Rajapaksha won the Processes, Assurance and Ethics subject prize, while merit prize winner Chamara Chandimal Wijerathna won the Commercial Insight for Management subject prize.

Students following the CA program are also offered two early exit routes: Certified Business Accountant (CBA) and Certified Senior Business Accountant (CSBA).
