Academy for Administrative Professionals (AAP) concluded its 12th Annual Residential seminar recently at Bay Vista Hotel Arugam Bay on a very successful note as usual. AAP as a practice selects a venue which is easily inaccessible specially to create an opportunity for all AAPers to explore the beauty of Sri Lanka. Bay Vista was total housed by over 80 participants, received a grand welcome with welcome song and dancers from Panama Maha Vidyalaya. 

Outbound training was conducted by renowned trainers in the field namely Prof. N. Logeswaran, Dean of the Eastern University, assisted by Swarna Ranatunga was the main feature. The tailor made training was very productive and enjoyed by all categories of participants including senior citizens. Managing circumstances, playing in teams, setting targets and achieving goals were the main areas concentrated in training. 

The educational excursion to Magul Maha Viharaya, Mudu Maha Viharaya coupled with lagoon safari in catamarans and to Kumana in safari jeeps were the attraction of the event. Social events created a forum to exhibit talents of members in accordance to the theme nights. The organisers extend their apologies for those who were not accommodated due to space constraints. They request to register within the stipulated time frame to avoid such disappointments in the future. 

Sunethra Nugawela said that the team was extremely satisfied with the overwhelming response commending the programme. She further stated that AAP was confident of her quality products but they always welcome and leave space for constructive comments for consideration. 

AAP in its commitment to contribute to build the nation and to educate school children will render some facilities to the Panama School soon. Those who wish to join hand in this needy project are warmly welcome to send in your contribution to AAP. The next event, Christmas Splendour, will be held on Friday 9 December organised by her student fraternity and they will be happy to have all AAPers, together with their families and friends.

AAP appreciate all organisations and members who contributed in big or small to make the event a real success.
