Amba Research Lanka Ltd. has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Colombo to expand analytics training capabilities. The program aims to create a high-end analytics talent pool drawn from Sri Lankan university graduates with a background in disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, economics, and computer science.

The massive growth in data availability, due to advances in technology, and the growing culture of analytics-centred corporate decisions have established predictive analytics as a major growth industry globally. Amba Research will support this initiative by providing industry practical training opportunities and sharing global best practices in analytics.
