Ananda wins international award

The 17th International convention on student’s quality circles was held at Kingston University London from 23 to 28 June. The conference theme was ‘Empowering Responsible Citizens’. Nearly 3,000 students and teachers from more than 25 countries participated. Ananda College, D.S. Senanayake College and Mahanama College participated from Sri Lanka. The convention program consisted case study presentation, college debate poster and slogan, and skit. Sanul Senaratne, Kalhara Bandaranayake, Menura Wanninayake and Charindu Liyanage from Ananda College, Colombo participated in the case study presentation and were placed in second place. Master-in-charge Ananda Sumanatilleke too joined them in London.
