Apex’s Nipuni Hansika bags world first in Performance Operations at CIMA 2013 examination

Nipuni Hansika a student of Apex Business Academy in the Southern Province has won the world prize for ‘Performance Operations’ at the CIMA Operational stage examination held in November 2013. This is the first and only world prize a Sri Lankan has secured at the November 2013 examination conducted by CIMA and is the first southerner to win a world prize at any examinations conducted by the Charted Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Nipuni a brilliant student of Southland College Galle passed the GCE Advanced Level examination in 2012 with 3As offering Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. “I joined Apex Business Academy because my parents and teachers advised me to do so. The Apex Business Academy has the best panel of lecturers for CIMA studies in the southern province. They not only focus on the syllabus but also improves the language skills, develop personality and provide carrier guidance as well. I am grateful to my lecturer Yushan Gunathilake and Deshani Gamage, Managing Directress of Apex Business Academy in the Southern Province for guiding me. I wish to thank my teachers at Southlands’ College and my parents and sister for all the encouragement and support,” said the jubilant Nipuni. “Nipuni Hansika is the first southerner to win a world prize at any CIMA examination,” reiterated Deshani Gamage, Managing directress of Apex Business Academy which has branches in Matara and Galle. “I am most grateful to Yushan because two more students from ABA Tharindu Malawararachchi and Achala Atukorala have obtained 93 marks for Performance Operations at this exam too!”
