attune hosts interactive workshop for Moratuwa University students

attune, a leading technology solutions provider to global fashion companies, conducted an interactive workshop for students from the University of Moratuwa (Computer Science and Engineering Faculty) focused on developing their soft skills. attune is a subsidiary of MAS Holdings and operates in nine countries globally. The Skill Development program facilitated by 361O Edge was held at Hotel Renuka on 22 February. The workshop centered on developing effective leaders through the development of interpersonal and business leadership skills. Introducing a fresh approach to improve individual performance in today’s fast-paced working environment, the workshop was conducted with a focus on enhancing public speaking, personal grooming, time management and emotional intelligence as well as to explore many value additions for the enhancement of skill sets for the students. Dr. Chandana Gamage, Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at UoM, commenting on the workshop said that it was heartening to see industry thinking and expectations being imparted to undergraduates at early stages of their career training. Senior members from attune also shared views and experiences in dealing with international opportunities, career growth and avenues. Sanjeev Walgampaya, Regional Director APAC at attune noted: “It’s encouraging to see the level of enthusiasm shown by students in developing these essential career skills.
