Ayush Scholarship slots open for Lankans seeking affordable Indian education

The High Commission of India has announced the offer of a few scholarship slots for Sri Lankan nationals under the ‘Ayush Scholarship Scheme’ for Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD courses under the Delhi Declaration for South East Asian (SEA) countries for the academic year 2015-2016.

The Government of India selects deserving Sri Lankan nationals for the award of these prestigious scholarships in consultation with the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) of the Sri Lankan Government.

These scholarships cover full tuition fees and a monthly sustenance allowance for the entire duration of the course. The scholarship also covers an accommodation allowance and an annual grant. Furthermore, all ICCR scholars in India are provided with full healthcare facilities.

Candidates interested in applying for an Ayush Scholarship may send their bio-data in the format prescribed by MOHE along with copies of supporting documents to the Ministry of Higher Education, No.18 Ward Place, Colombo-07 on or before 24 July 2015.
