The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour Relations and Productivity Promotion organised a job fair at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Conference Hall, Wellawaya recently.

This job fair had been organised in parallel with the ‘Deyata Kirula’ National Exhibition, scheduled to be held in February next year in the Monaragala District.

The BOI Job Fair created an ideal opportunity for an unemployed youth in the Wellawaya, Buttala and Monaragala areas, to find suitable employment opportunities. More than 26 leading BOI enterprises seeking to employ staff participated at the job fair and therefore approximately 1,000 job seekers were given the opportunity to meet company representatives and select jobs in diversified fields. Kulasekera, Divisional Secretary Wellawaya K.H.A.K. Nishantha, Director Hema Perera, Assistant Director, Ministry of Labour Relations and Productivity Promotion K.W. Elapatha and Director BOI W.A.
