Epic Excellence Award for Irasha at SLIIT Graduation 2012

Irasha Gimhani Karunarathne received the Epic Excellence Award at the annual convocation of Sri Lanka Institute of Information technology (SLIIT) held recently.

Sri Lanka’s premier software solutions company, Epic Lanka offered this award to the best BSc IT student for the fourth consecutive year. The winner of this award also received a cash award. Epic Excellence award includes an opportunity for training or employment at Epic Lanka, on need basis.

As a software firm regionally known for innovative solutions we are quite happy to work closely with SLIIT being the biggest producer of ICT graduates in the country, Krishan Jayewardane, Senior Vice President of Epic Lanka said. The industry is in need of talented software professionals and the role played by SLIIT is very much commendable he added.

Winning the highest number of awards at the National Best Quality Software Awards 2011 for the fourth time Epic Lanka has won a total of 46 national and international accolades since 2007.
