Lindsey Garbenis, visiting Associate Director International Admissions of Hawai’i Pacific University (www.hpu.edu) was recently introduced to Goolbai Gunasekara former Principal and current Director/Consultant of Asian International School (AIS).

The meeting was facilitated by Scholarships for USA (Pvt) Ltd (www.scholarshipsforusa.com) local representative for HPU who work closely with AIS helping its students with fastest placements with excellent financial aid. This is the maiden visit by a representative of HPU to Sri Lanka and HPU is willing to assist the right candidates with excellent financial aid, credit transfers based on not only London A/Ls but Lankan A/Ls too coupled with year round part-time and paid internship opportunities during summer breaks. Hawaii also offers very comfortable weather for Lankans (in a country increasingly becoming colder in the winter). HPU is well known for its Experience-Based learning where its students would have many opportunities to engage in paid internships, research projects and exchange programmes. A student-faculty ratio of 15:1 and an average class size of 25 allow HPU students to build personal mentoring relationships with their professors.
