Hejaaz International secures ‘Teacher of the Year’ award for most number of gold medals won

Aaysha Ifthikar, whose dedication and love for the English language performing arts, brought in the most number of participants to the year’s Festival of Performing Arts that was held at the Tourist Board Auditorium, Colombo.



Her training of the students was not just a mere few months before the Festival but months and years of committed coaching towards an objective.

She is a professional having obtained the Diploma in ESOL from the University of Cambridge along with other certifications in Speech and Drama from The Trinity College UK and The Colombo Academy of Language Skills and Dramatic Arts (CALSDA).

Ifthikar hails from Colombo and has had her mother and father’s inspiration and motivation, to forge ahead in her English language education and various disciplines of the British Standard of Performing Arts.

Hejaaz International employs the best, and being a professional in imparting educative knowledge to students in the English medium, had also taken upon itself to create an awareness for the speech, drama and essay disciplines, in order to mould and build character in the students. Accordingly, for her endeavours taken Ifthikar, was credited with 127 Gold, 57 Silver and 17 Bronze medals the School won through its enthusiastic students at the festival.
