HNB Assurance partners CIMA Toastmasters’ Quiz 2013 as Platinum sponsor

HNB Assurance will be joining as the Platinum sponsor for the much awaited CIMA Toastmasters’ Quiz 2013, organised by the CIMA Toastmasters Club, which is scheduled to take place on the 13 October 2013 at BMICH. More than 25 Toastmaster Clubs from Sri Lanka will battle it out to clinch the trophy. Around 200 Toastmasters are estimated to attend this event. The CIMA Toastmasters Club was chartered in 2006 with the objective of giving the members of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK an opportunity to improve their communication and leadership skills. Currently, the club admits members of CIMA, exams completed and final year students of CIMA.
Commenting on this sponsorship, Project Manager of CIMA Toastmasters Club stated “Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organisation that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of meeting locations. We thank HNB Assurance for their support in joining hands with us by being the Platinum Sponsor for the event and we wish to enrich our partnership for many years to come.”
The Competition rounds are on news and current-affairs, sports, history and arts, entertainment and toastmastering. Each club is allowed to field two teams of maximum five members. Only Toastmasters Clubs are allowed to participate.
