ICCS releases results of September examination

The Institute of Chartered Corporate Secretaries of Sri Lanka (ICCS), formerly known as the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Sri Lanka, was incorporated in 1985 and was the local body for the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of England.

The main objects of the institute are to promote and protect the interests, status, rights and privileges of the profession and its members and the interests of the public in relation to the profession of corporate secretaries, and to advise and communicate with public authorities on matters relating to corporate secretarial management and governance and other corporate affairs.

The ICCS offers a professional qualification covering topics such as industrial law, business law, company law, corporate governance, financial accounting, taxation and company secretarial practice – a breadth of knowledge not offered by other professional bodies in the business area. The ICCS qualification is well respected in the business community.

The results of the September 2012 examination were released by the Board of Examiners of ICCS.

The following candidates have completed the examinations. They will now attempt the case study: Priyanga P. Peiris, Disna N. Jayasinghe, G.G. Kalani P. Guruge, K. Manula S. Seneviratne, Arosha K. Berugoda, Sandeepa A. Silva, I. Chathuranga Sirisena, I. Harshini Edirisinghe and S. Melani Kudaliyanage.

ICCS welcomes registrations from school leavers who wish to pursue a career in the corporate world.
