SCICOM Education Group launches its presence in Sri Lanka with a trio of service management study programs designed for those who wish to ride the wave of the service industry that is transforming economies around the world. Service management is a field of study that focuses on proven methodologies to raise the levels of customer service for maximum customer retention and loyalty. The aim of service management is to provide the best customer experience for sustainable business profitability. Service management is especially integral in retail, banking and finance, telecommunications, F&B, hospitality and tourism. The programs that cater to school-leavers as well as experienced service professionals will award, on completion, professional certificates and diplomas endorsed by the University of Ballarat, in New South Wales, Australia, and recognised worldwide. The three programs provide a pathway to further education that could, if the student wishes, culminate in a degree from the University of Ballarat, one of Australia’s most highly regarded tertiary institutions. Fresh school leavers with an ‘O’ or ‘A’ Level can start off with the Professional Certificate in Customer Contact Management, continue on to an Advanced Professional Certificate in Service Management, and proceed further to a Diploma in Global Services Management. Working adults with recognition of prior learning or work-related experience in customer service professions may also apply to study. The training and qualifications can be counted on to deliver wide employment opportunities in the fast-growing sector of service management, not just in Sri Lanka but also around the world. All three courses of study can be undertaken at the Colombo campus of the Scicom Education Group, a multi-award winning Malaysia-based public-listed MNC with businesses in BPO, training and education. The Group also collaborates with several British and Australian accreditation agencies to deliver industry-driven study programs, highly sought-after by ambitious customer-service executives. SCICOM Education Group’s Chief Operating Officer, Jude Mohan who presented the programs at the launch seminar for interested individuals and corporate partners said, “Young Sri Lankans are poised for an exciting future in global service management as economies round the world gear up to cater to a burgeoning middle-class who yearn for quality services.” Information on the programs from SCICOM Education Group can be obtained by calling 011 588 2885.
