Pakistan awards fully-funded engineering scholarships to Lankan students

The Government of Pakistan has awarded fully-funded higher professional engineering scholarships to three Sri Lankan students under the Higher Education Scholarship Program for 2014.

The High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka, Maj. Gen. Qasim Qureshi met the selected students at the High Commission of Pakistan and congratulated them on their decision to pursue higher education in Pakistan. In addition to the higher education scholarships, every year Pakistan awards Jinnah Educational Scholarships to hundreds of Sri Lankan O/L and A/L students. Besides offering fully-funded scholarships in engineering, Pakistan also awards higher education scholarships in medicine, dentistry and pharmacy to Sri Lankan students.
