Renowned Visual Effects Editor and Video Director Ranushka Fernando, who has been involved with various ventures such as ‘E Kale: The One’ (which is by far the most viewed Sri Lankan music video on YouTube, with over 1.4 million hits), has founded ICC Campus. Fernando, a product of Maris Stella College and Colombo International School, is no stranger to Sri Lanka’s film industry, and has been involved with several films as VFX editor, including Cletus Mendis’ latest film ‘Parapura’. His other credits in the music video industry include ‘Sihinaya Dige Enna’, ‘Oba Dunna Wedanawa’, ‘Atha Nalale Thiya’and ‘Adaren Math Wela’. He was also the special effects director of ‘Yuga Peraliya’. The ICC Campus, started earlier this year, is an extension of Digital Line Computer Institute (also a brainchild of Fernando). His vision is to transform his previous organisation into a fully-fledged campus, in order to create a professional VFX industry in Sri Lanka.
