Higher Education Minister S. B. Dissanayake made a quick exit on Wednesday after addressing undergraduate students about the merits of entrepreneurship.
Dissanayake, who is at logger-heads with striking university academics over salary increments, did not stay to handout prizes at the first Youth Enterprise Award.
“We recognise that entrepreneurs play a vital part in our economic development. There are no losers at this competition. All are winners for having the courage and foresight to take part in a challenging competition,” Dissanayake said before departing for another event.
