SLIM-Bucks MBA intake now on

Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) which has a working partnership with Buckinghamshire New University UK has opened applications for the latest intake of students for its SLIM Bucks MBA program.



According to SLIM, applicants for the MBA Program should have a professional qualification and be at least 23 years of age. Executives with a minimum of eight years of managerial experience in a private or public organisation are eligible to apply.

Relevant professional qualifications such as SLIM, CIM, CIMA, ACCA, IPM ACA, CMA are considered as entry qualifications for the program.

Unlike most other MBA programs, the SLIM-Bucks MBA offers independent modules, flexible timetable, convenient schedules, discussion forums, blackboard (IT platform) facilities and support of local and foreign lecturers.

It is designed for professionals and the course work can be completed in just one year, followed by the dissertation. Once you complete the MBA, you receive the same certificate as the students of Buckinghamshire New University UK get on completion.

SLIM Chief Executive Office/Executive Director Sanath Senanayake elaborating on the facilities available for local students said: “Each student will be assigned a personal tutor from UK to guide them, throughout the dissertation while local tutors assigned for each subject will provide the necessary additional support.

“A comfortable learning environment is created at SLIM while all referencing could be done at the Professor Philip Kotler library. All of these factors contribute to a higher chance of success when following the MBA program at SLIM.”

Commenting on the significance of the course, SLIM President Tilan Wijeyasekera said: “The internationally accepted top class MBA from Buckinghamshire New University will back Sri Lankan professionals to go beyond basic management principles and develop creative and strategic leadership qualities demanded in the future.”
