SLT congratulates winners of e-Sports Reid Cyber Wars 2.0

The SLT e-Sports Reid Cyber Wars 2.0, the first ever inter-state university e-sports championship was successfully conducted at the University of Colombo School of Computing on Thursday, 12 May.

One of the teams from the University of Moratuwa, ‘Moratu Yakku’ won the ‘Call of Duty’ title and the team comprised of Praveen Senaviratne, Kasun Surindu, Suditha Shamika, Malith Gallage and Pramod Dassanayake. The winner of the girls’ team for ‘Mortal Kombat – X’ was Dilini Weerasinghe from the University of Colombo, while the winner of the boys’ team was Dulaj Gunawardena from the University of Moratuwa. The ‘Need For Speed’ title was won by Chanduni Wickremasinghe from the University of Colombo for the girls’ team and Buddhika Sameera Karunarathna from the University of Moratuwa for the boys’ team. 

The winners walked away with trophies, certificates as well as attractive cash prizes. SLT congratulates all the winners on their achievement.

The SLT e-Sports Reid Cyber Wars 2.0 was organised by the University of Colombo School of Computing  in collaboration with IEEE Student branch of University of Colombo and the Computer Society, and powered by SLT’s fibre optic broadband connectivity.
