Sri Jayewardenepura Uni faculty in Male’?

The Government is considering establishing a faculty of the Sri Jayewardenepura University in the Maldives.

The Sri Lankan government today held discussions with the Maldivian authorities to explore the possibility of establishing a faculty of the Sri Jayewardenepura University in the Maldives.

The government and the Maldivian authorities had also discussed about establishing a Maldivian Higher Education Institute in Sri Lanka.

Higher Education Minister S.B. Dissanayake has discussed the possibility of establishing a Business Management Faculty affiliated to the Sri Jayewardenepura University in the Maldives.

Dissanayake had discussed these matters with the High Commissioner of the Maldives to Sri Lanka, Hussein Shihab when they met at the Higher Education Ministry.
