Truman State University visits Institute of Chemistry

The outcome at the recent discussion between the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon and the Truman State University has been very successful.

 Ever since Scholarships For USA brokered the institutional collaboration agreement between the ICC and the University of Cincinnati in 2008 many ICC students have transferred to UC on a 2+2 transfer program benefitting immensely not only by a world class chemistry degree but also globally marketable industrial internships. Now SUSA plans bringing in more US universities which are increasingly affordable to the Lankan Chemistry students. 

Truman State is where Deputy Minister Policy Planning and Economic Development Dr. Harsha De Silva MP was the first Lankan student. Truman State is ranked the number one Public University in the US Midwest for 17 consecutive years by the US News and World Report. Incidentally this was one of the last official photographs of Prof. JNO Fernando who created and was the live wire of ICC. Prof. JNO Fernando was always very enthusiastic about providing international exposure and global opportunities for his students.
