University of Toledo Ohio USA, Associate Director Mark Schroeder recently visited Asian International School (AIS) Colombo, to meet with its Director and the counselor for US Universities Goolbai Gunasekara. AIS, during the recent years, has been working closely with Scholarships for USA (Pvt) Ltd.

(SUSA), to secure early admissions with excellent scholarships, generous credit transfers, ample part-time work and paid internships providing its students with hands-on work experience preparing them for global positions.

SUSA, mostly due to its extensive annual summer visits across US, have teamed up with a group of handpicked universities and colleges from Montana to Hawaii and from North Dakota to Tennessee, who have agreed to open its doors to deserving Lankans awarding each with top education that even middle class Lankan parents could afford.

The University of Toledo combines everything Lankan parents would look for; one of the few Universities in the US to have its own medical and law schools, UToledo offers over 250 degrees from bachelor’s degrees to doctorates at an affordable cost.

It also offers generous credit transfers for AS and ALs; excellent scholarships; a history dating back to 1872 and is conveniently situated in an area with a considerably lower cost of living (compared to many other parts of US) while the Campus also boasts a student to faculty ratio of 19:1. Gunasekara, who is well versed in US education, felt that UToledo would be an exciting destination to AIS students.
