The opening ceremony of the Zahira Vocational Training Centre (VTC) was held at Zahira College Colombo recently. The chief guest of the ceremony, City and Guilds International South Asia Regional Manager Mufthy Hashim declared opened the centre.
Zahira College Principal Trizvi Marikkar, Board of Governors Chairman Fowzul Hameed , VTC Chairman Nizam Lantra, Deputy Principal, Vice Principals and members of the old boys association were also present.
The centre will conduct electrical, electronics, plumbing, food preparation, F & B service and hotel housekeeping training. The chief guest and the college Principal admitted the new students at the opening ceremony.
